Privacy Policy

1. What we collect
- From merchants: store name, contact email, and Shopify data needed to run the app (products, variants, inventory levels).
- From your customers: the email address entered in the notify-me form, the product/variant they subscribed to, and the time of signup.
2. How we use it
Customer emails are used for exactly one purpose: sending the back-in-stock notification for the product they subscribed to. We do not send marketing email to your customers, sell data, or share it with third parties beyond the processors below.
3. Who owns the data
You, the merchant, own your customers' subscription data. You can export it from the app as a CSV at any time, and request deletion by contacting us. Uninstalling the app deletes your store's data within 30 days, in line with Shopify's data requirements.
4. Processors
Two sub-processors handle data on our behalf:
- Postmark (email delivery) processes recipient email addresses to send the back-in-stock notifications, under its data-processing agreement.
- RackNerd (hosting) provides the virtual server, which we operate through Coolify, on which the app and its PostgreSQL database run.
We use no other sub-processors and do not sell or share data with anyone else. This list is kept current; questions go to [email protected].
5. GDPR & regional rights
We act as a data processor on your behalf and support Shopify's GDPR webhooks: customer data requests, customer erasure, and shop erasure are handled automatically. Customers can also unsubscribe via the link included in every notification email.
6. Security
All data is encrypted in transit, and access is limited to personnel who need it to operate the service.
